My home base is Palmerston North, but I have previously lived in Wellington, where I attained my Bachelor of Music, majoring in Jazz performance. After graduating, I moved back to my hometown to train in teaching at Massey University, where I obtained my Graduate Diploma in Learning and Teaching (Primary). I have recently attained Associate Membership if the IRMT (Institute of Registered Music Teachers)

I have a great passion for music and supporting children, teenagers and adult learners on their musical journey. 

I am a passionate choral singer where I have been a member of the New Zealand Youth Choir in 2025 we won Choir of the World at the Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod in Wales. I am also a member of the Voices NZ Chamber Choir, where I continue singing professionally. In 2025 we performed Rossini's Stabat Mater at the Michael Fowler Centre with the NZSO.

I am a teacher of Music and Primary School Teacher around the Manawatū. You will see me singing in our community and national choirs, performing in local productions as well as conducting. 

In my spare time, I enjoy coffee, creating music, spending time with my wife and our cat, and relaxing with the latest movie.
